As we get older, our metabolisms begin to decelerate. Sadly with lots folks, as they age, their activity levels also reduce. So there is a double concern of slower metabolisms and less physical activity.

The most simple, simplest way of speeding up the body’s metabolism is by eating small, balanced and nutritious meals or snacks each 3 to 4 hours.

Eating each 3 to four hours equates to about 5 or six little meals or nibbles a day, instead of the conventional, ( and defective ) three squares that we were tricked into believing was best.

This one tiny step of eating each three to 4 hours will change your body for the better more so than any other thing that you learn from this book.

At first you’ll have to possibly force feed your body to eat every three to four hours, but after a week or two, it becomes habit. You can make any routine a habit in just a few weeks or so ( unfortunately it’s correct with bad habits too ).

Eat often and in moderate amounts, just enough so you are not hungry again until another three to four hours. Eat a small, healthy breakfast, lunch, and dinner and then have a tiny break between breakfast and lunch, between lunch and dinner, and between dinner and bedtime. That comes out to six little meals.

the best thing about eating each three to four hours, besides the fact that it’s beneficial for your metabolic rate, is that it basically makes it seem you’re eating more food than ordinary. Psychologically you do not feel deprived of anything because it seems you’re eating more often.

If you eat each 3 to four hours, you do not build up hunger, so you are less likely to eat big quantities of food.

Eating every three to 4 hours also causes concern for some folk who are not aware of the benefits of eating little meals often . Many of us are misinformed and think that eating frequently will lead to gains in weight. This is only true if you’re eating regularly and are eating more than your daily calorie wishes.

Some folks think the less you eat and the more infrequently you eat, that might create more chance of weight loss. Naturally, now you know that isn’t the case.

It is all based on the speeding up of your body’s metabolism and the efficiency in which it burns off calories. This one change may help you with weight loss more so than any other.

As much as eating three squares a day has become habit since youth, eating six smaller, balanced and tasty nibbles / meals each day can become habit too.
